Funding Announcement: Round 4 Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants
About
Funding Available!
The U.S. Department of Labor has released the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to solicit applications for the fourth round of Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grants (or SCC4).
The purpose of this grant program is to build community colleges’ capacity to meet the skill development needs of employers and equitably support students in obtaining good jobs in in-demand industries. Grantees will enhance sector-based career pathways programs using strategies rooted in evidence and designed to build further evidence on the effectiveness of sector-based career pathways programs in leading to positive employment outcomes. Institutions that were funded in the first three rounds of SCC as either leads or consortium members may apply as leads or consortium members under this fourth round if they focus on a different industry sector than in prior rounds. Prospective applicants may consult a list of all prior SCC grantees by industry as reference.
Questions about the SCC4 grant opportunity should be directed to the point of contact included in the FOA. We encourage prospective applicants and interested parties to use the Grants.gov subscription option to register for future updates provided for this and other related FOAs.
