About
This presentation describes how the Minnesota Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (MnAMP), led by South Central College, developed an advanced manufacturing restructured academic framework. This stackable, transferable, statewide-standardized core curriculum leads to career pathways in machining, welding, and mechatronics.
The pathways include aligned industry-recognized and academic credentials and promote credit for prior learning options, dual training, and apprenticeship opportunities; participants “LEARN, WORK, EARN” to meet the manufacturing skills gap in Minnesota. It also includes MnAMP’s customized Database “LWE,” developed by PTB & Associates, through COMPETE (College Outcomes Management and Performance Environment for Tracking and Evaluation Predictive Analytics Tool).
