2023 SCC Grantee Convening

Learning Objectives

This year’s theme will focus on Capacity Building and Systems Change and the many challenges that arise when bringing people together across different workforce systems, different institutions, and different goals. We will learn how to create new learning partnerships across boundaries, a key component of successful capacity building and sustainable systems change.

The goals of this convening are to provide TA on:

• Centering systems change and equity-minded capacity building in community college career pathways.
• Peer-to-peer sharing on promising practices, grantee successes, and solving common challenges.
• Spotlight examples where evaluators are leveraged to gain insights that can be applied to projects.

Who should plan to attend?

We encourage all SCC grantees to invite key grant staff at the lead institution, grant project managers at consortium member institutions and other key grant staff, strategic employer partners, workforce development partners, community partners, and third-party evaluators.  (Fiscal topics will not be covered at this convening.)

We ask that at least one representative from every grantee institution attend each session of the convening. If the primary grantee point of contact is not able to attend a session, please arrange for a representative from your project to attend.

Links to each session can be found under "Related Content" on the left.
